Arts and culture organizations make more than an emotional impact –– they make a critical difference in the economy, unite communities, increase safety and citizen engagement, and improve the overall quality of the life for everyone living, working and playing in our city.
Now is a crucial time to support and advocate for the arts and make your voice heard.
Arts organizations, like many of those supported by the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville, are making difficult choices due to unexpected and unprecedented state funding shortfalls. As a city, we need arts and culture organizations to sustain the quality of life that is the very foundation of tourism and economic development efforts.
The City of Jacksonville has demonstrated strong, bipartisan support for the arts and to sustain the dynamic growth we’ve seen in the past few years, funding has to be sustained. Please join us in advocating for arts and culture to be fully funded at the Mayor’s 2024-2025 budget recommendation.
We can work with you individually or with your corporate entity to match private dollars with real-time need. Reach out to our Development Director, Nidhi Every at nidhi@culturalcouncil.org,
