PUBLIC ART PROPOSALS AND DONATIONS
The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville has established policies and procedures for any unsolicited public art donations, loans, or public art proposals for the following reasons:
Maintain the quality of the public art collection.
Ensure that artworks are sited to the most suitable locations.
Establish that there will be funds to protect, maintain, preserve, and conserve works of art on public property.
Evaluate works for quality, safety, durability, and maintainability.
Propose a public art project or donate public art
Once you’ve considered the idea or space in which you are interested for a public art project, loan or donation, we welcome the opportunity to provide you with a framework of next steps and considerations. Keep in mind that unsolicited proposals must be fully funded and present no intellectual property barriers for use or display.
