Janet Wesley is the Director of Development for the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville, where she leads the organization’s strategic fundraising efforts to expand philanthropic investment in the region’s arts and cultural landscape. With over 15 years of experience in development, marketing, and community relations, Janet is dedicated to building a sustainable funding model that supports both the Council’s long-term vision and the evolving needs of the creative community. Her work focuses on cultivating new sources of revenue, strengthening donor engagement, and aligning fundraising strategy with organizational priorities to ensure lasting impact.

Janet’s career includes a leadership role with Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, where she served as the Director of Marketing and Development, expanding revenue growth and community engagement initiatives.  As a consultant, she has advised nonprofits across Northeast Florida on campaign planning, brand positioning, and stakeholder development. Janet’s commitment to cultural advancement is matched by her strategic mindset and collaborative leadership style.
