ABOUT ARTIST GRANTs

The Operational Grants for Individual Artists is designed to assist practicing, professional artists in any medium or discipline, and also includes creative entrepreneurs and cultural workers who work directly, primarily and to the benefit of individual artists such as curators, producers and presenters.

60 local artists will receive $10,000 each towards their creative practice. In addition, the pilot program will include workshops to educate artists on the grant writing process, and grantees will receive coaching and professional development training throughout the program to support their artistic development and practice.

Applications open on July 29 at 12pm and closes on August 30 at 11:59pm (limited to a maximum of 300 eligible applications).
