Nidhi Every is the Director of Development at the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville, where she spearheads fundraising initiatives to fuel diverse cultural programs and public art projects that enrich the quality of life. Distinguished by her collaborative style and extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, advocacy, and music, she brings a broad and insightful perspective to her role. Nidhi is driven by the principle that all development is based on sincere relationships and working together to move the needle.
She has held senior development positions at regional hospice and national criminal justice nonprofit organizations, where she excelled in a broad range of fundraising activities, including organizing events, cultivating donor relationships of all levels, building strategic partnerships, and engaging with high-net-worth individuals.
In addition to her professional achievements, Nidhi is a classically trained musician. Her artistic background as an orchestral percussionist allows her to connect with diverse audiences and advocate for cultural initiatives with a unique and creative approach.
Nidhi’s tenure as the Production Manager of the Jacksonville Symphony highlighted her ability to manage large-scale orchestra events, negotiate contracts, and oversee logistics for hundreds of performances. She has worked closely with renowned artists and international arts agencies, ensuring seamless productions for performers and memorable experiences for audiences.
A strong advocate for youth in the dependency system, Nidhi worked as a Florida Board Certified Child Advocate Manager with the Guardian ad Litem Office, where her leadership and advocacy for vulnerable children and persistence to work collaboratively with agencies and legal teams guided cases to reach permanency in the childβs best interest.
Nidhi now serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at the Guardian ad Litem Foundation, where she has been instrumental in bringing awareness to normalcy needs and advocating for legislative changes.
Nidhi is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the Riverside Rotary Club of Jacksonville, where she is Club Chair on the Rotary Emerald Trail Steering Committee. She also serves on the board of the Planned Giving Council of Northeast Florida. Nidhi is from Cape Town, South Africa and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations & Diplomacy.
