Milena Ruiz joins us with 12 years of marketing and communications experience in the nonprofit, medical, private aviation, and sports industries. Originally from Orlando, FL, Ruiz began her career at Stratos Jets as their Marketing Director promoting tourism and world class travel experiences and went on to lead marketing and communications forCentral Florida Inpatient Medicine. Ruiz relocated to Jacksonville in 2005, to begin her career in professional sports working with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Jaguars Foundation to focus her efforts on positively impacting the Jacksonville community.

In 2018, Ruiz was the recipient of a Suncoast Regional EMMY® as Associate Producer of Jags Teen Talk…Game Plan for Success television show, broadcasted on all local independent stations, cable and network affiliates. Continuing her passion to serve, Ruiz and her spouse, Mauricio, founded their own non-profit, World Sports United, in 2005, supporting soccer ministries and academies all over the world. Ruiz received her Bachelors of Science in Marketing from the University of Central Florida and her Masters of Science in Sports Management at Jacksonville University.
