Joey Greive

Patrick “Joey” Greive, CFA, CFP® is Chief Financial Officer for the Jacksonville Port Authority.  As CFO for Florida’s largest container and auto port, he is tasked with management and oversight of the Treasury, Accounting, Budget, Fleet, and procurement operations. Included in these responsibilities is oversight of large debt, cash, and investment programs. As a member of JAXPORT’s senior executive team, he provides leadership on cross-organizational operational and strategic projects. He also sits on various committees.

Prior to being appointed to his current role, he served in several roles at the City of Jacksonville including Director of Finance and Administration / Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, Chief Investment Officer and Pension Administrator under three different Mayoral Administrations. Prior to that, he was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2006 to 2010 where he served in various investment advisory, leadership, and talent development roles.

Mr. Greive has a dual-major in Finance and Real Estate from Florida State University, is an instrument-rated pilot, avid golfer, and cyclist. He is an active member of CFA Society Jacksonville, where he is Vice President and Chair of Awareness and Advocacy and serves on VyStar Credit Union and the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville’s Audit Committee.  He and his wife Michelle, along with their children Claire, Graeme, and Zoey reside in Jacksonville Beach, FL.
