NEW – Spark Grant Program

Where there’s spark, there’s art! The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville is introducing its Spark Initiative, a creative venture to activate and program the Spark District, a core redevelopment area in Downtown Jacksonville spanning from the riverfront north to Duval Street, and bordered east to west from Liberty to Hogan.

To this end, the Cultural Council is launching its new Spark Grant Program. Grants ranging between $5,000-25,000 will be awarded to individual artists/cultural providers and 501c3 organizations of Duval, Nassau, St. Johns, Clay and Baker counties for arts/cultural projects of all disciplines that will ignite the Spark District through artistic energy, cultural vibrancy and exciting streetscapes.

Deadline for applications, which must be submitted online, is May 30, 2013.
