Cultural Services Grant Program Pre-application Due March 4
Duval County arts and cultural organizations interested in applying for public funding through the 2009-2010 Cultural Service Grant Program (CSGP) must submit a pre-application to the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville by Wednesday, March 4, 2009.
Organizations must submit a pre-application as a mandatory prerequisite for completing the full CSGP application, which is due in July. Pre-application forms are available on-line at www.culturalcouncil.org.
The Cultural Council regrants funds made available through the City of Jacksonville. CSGP awards are granted based on an organization’s fiscal accountability, community outreach and programming excellence. The CSGP grant review panel is made up of five Cultural Council Board members, five members from the community at-large, and representatives from the Mayor’s Office and City Council. Twenty-six organizations were awarded over $2.5 million in general operating support for 2008-2009.
