Dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the Beaches, the Historical Society provides guided and self-guided tours of Pablo Historical Park. Programs and field trips on local history are available for school children both on-site and in the classroom.

A cultural club established in 1951 to promote Italian heritage, culture and community service will visit school and Navy bases with artifacts from Italy. The annual Festa Italiana in October takes place in Mandarin and is open to the public.

The museum offers programs to school groups presenting the history of the antebellum south. After a presentation in the museum, the children are given the opportunity to handle and fire the old muskets in the courtyard behind the museum.
