From toddlers to adults, the Zoo features year-round opportunities to bring “life to learning”. Environmental education programs teach Life Science concepts through hands-on activities such as arts and crafts, games and animal encounters. These programs are free to Duval County Public School students. Additional programs include a pre-schooler’s program, in–school and home school programs and workshops for teachers.

MOSH offers a wide range of educational programs for public schools, private schools, and home schools, grades PreK-12. Field trips consist of physical science, natural science, history, and/or planetarium programs and include admission to all museum exhibits. All programs are curriculum-based, interactive, and fun!

Provides free 4-hour fieldtrips Mondays-Thursdays from October through April on topics ranging from Animal Adaptations to Field Archaeology to Solar Science. In addition, they provide Outreach programs to schools and camps from May-July. See website to learn about the reservation process, teacher workshops, home school programs, and Scout Saturdays. Reservations required.

Provides a beautiful environmental experience with museum exhibits, gardens with butterflies, hummingbirds, herbs, organic vegetables, a bog garden, swamps, and nature trails. Curriculum based program for third graders and field trips tailored for other ages as well. Teacher training is available and provides professional development points.
