Participate in the RAM Art Gallery by purchasing a $36 kit which contains two 9.5” x 9.5” squares and includes your exhibit fee. A co-op gallery consisting of 30 artists who feature an artist in their gallery space each month at The Carling in downtown Jacksonville. Participating artists are required to volunteer at the gallery to participate in the co-op. Studio space is also available to interested artists.

Art Walks happens year-round first Wednesday of the month, 5 – 9 p.m.
Each gallery has an independent curator and features local, original artwork. From the works of distinguished artists at the Jacksonville Museum of Modern Art to small working artist communities like the one at 11 E. Downtown Vision, Inc. tries to help all local artists participate in the First Wednesday Art Walk. The best place to start is to enjoy the walk yourself. Meet some of the curators and hosts of the galleries on the walk and approach them directly with your portfolio. If you are ready to show your work and still haven’t found a space, send an email with a description and/or photos to Downtown Vision.

Bethel Gallery is located inside Ponte Vedra Presbyterian Church. The Gallery was established in 2001 and has eight exhibits per year. A monthly newsletter describes themes and how to participate. No membership or fees required. Email joypeace3[at]aol.com

The South Gallery has 11 exhibitions per year showing student, faculty, and local, regional, and national artists’ art work. Submissions are reviewed annually each fall but can be submitted at any time. The Haskell Gallery is open to all artists. The gallery has approximately four exhibitions per year. Art Kiosks throughout the airport are available for 3D artwork and are rotated on a regular basis. St. Augustine Art Association

The St. Augustine Art Association has six to eight exhibitions per year. All show are juried with the exception of the Fall and Spring show which are open to all members. The St. Augustine Art Association also produces two Arts & Crafts festivals for years. They are also First Friday Art Walk participants. Check their website for call-to-artist information.
