A co-op gallery consisting of 30 artists who feature an artist in their gallery space each month at The 111 E. Bay Street in downtown Jacksonville. Participating artists are required to volunteer at the gallery to participate in the co-op. Studio space is also available to interested artists.

Membership is open to artists of all skill levels in the visual arts. The group meets the first Tuedsay of each month September through May at 7 p.m. at the Lions Club in Orange Park. The Art Guild presents seven rotating exhibits annually at locations in Clay County. Members have many opportunites to be active in the community and with area schools.

Downtown Vision, Inc. organizes the Art Walk the first Wednesday of every month. Artists, from emerging to established, are encouraged to partner with downtown businesses to exhibit their work. It is free to participate. Planning meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month.

Fiber Artists Network
The Fiber Artists Network (FAN) is for emerging and sesaoned fiber artists to inspire one another through exhibitions, educational programs, critiques, and networking. FAN meets the third Saturday of each month at The Cultural Center of Ponte Vedra Beach. Annual dues are $25 and everyone interested in fiber art is welcome. www.fiberartistsnetwork.org.
First Friday Lunch Bunch for Artists, Actors, Musicians, and Dancers
This is a monthly lunch group organized by Darren Dailey, Jacksonville Children’s Chorus, for artists and musicians to learn about each other’s work. Bring your business cards and flyers to Clara’s at the Cathedral, 11 am – 1pm, first Fridays.

The JCVA brings artists together for four juried shows annually. Two workshops are planned for members per year. Membership dues are $25 annually.

The JCAAA fosters an environment which encourages African American arts and artists to flourish and succeed in the business of art. No artist is excluded on basis of race. The Consortium meets the first Tuesday of every month, 6:30 p.m. at the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum. Workshops for artists are held monthly along with 4-5 exhibitions per year. Membership dues are $25 annually.

The Jacksonville Watercolor Society meets monthly, September – May, the last Tuesday of the month at FCCJ, South Campus Gallery. Two workshops are held each year with nationally known artists. The Society has four exhibitions per year for members. Membership dues are $35 annually. Workshops are not included in membership.
Jacksonville Weaver’s Guild

Founded in 1974 to support and promote the crafts of handweaving, spinning, dyeing and basketry. The Weaver’s Guild offers fiber art skills, workshops, equipment, library and affiliations with Florida Tropical Weaver’s Guild and Handweaver’s Guild of America, Inc. Monthly meetings are held the second Saturday of the month, 10 a.m. at Tree Hill Nature Center. Membership dues are $20 annually.
Kalliope Women’s Writer’s Collective

The Collective supports local women writers by holding workshops to critique their own writings, sponsoring public readings of the members’ works, holding discussions of writing issues, and participating in local writers’ festivals.
Poetry writers meet the first Monday of the month (except June, July, August) 6:30 p.m. at FCCJ South Campus, Room N-123. Bring 10 copies of an unpublished poem.
Prose writers meet the fourth Saturday of each month, 1 – 4 p.m. at FCCJ South Campus, Room N-123. Original prose pieces are read before meetings. Call to be included in the mailing list if you wish to participate.
